Executive Chef/Food Service Director
McKnight Place Extended Care, a luxury senior living community, is seeking an Executive Chef/Food Service Director to lead our dining team and provide exceptional dining experiences.
Position Requirements: We are seeking a candidate with:
- Formal training or extensive culinary experience.
- A minimum of 2 years as an Executive Chef or Food Service Director is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Proven ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Reliable transportation is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Dining Room Managers, Servers, Cooks, and Dishwashers.
- Recruit, train, and mentor the food service team.
- Develop creative, nutritious menus in collaboration with a Registered Dietitian.
- Maintain open communication with residents, families, and team members.
- Provide staff education to enhance service quality.
- Actively participate in care plan and management team meetings.
