Job Overview The Solution Executive maximizes profitable company sales revenue by identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business with new and existing clients. This role primarily sells Sphera’s software solutions and serves as the personification of Sphera to customers and partners. Responsibilities Sell to Enterprise accounts, focusing on hunting new accounts. Execute against yearly sales goals. Qualify and disqualify new business opportunities while identifying customer pain. Deliver executive Sphera point-of-view dialogue. Conduct hunting activities (includes cold calling, conferences, trade shows, etc.). Cross‑functional collaboration with Account Managers. Maintain accurate forecasts. Accountability for driving revenue growth across Sphera’s assigned business lines, including identification of revenue drivers and metrics; create visibility with all market owners on revenue trends and actions to drive revenues to plan. Deliver solution presentations to key customers. Develop enterprise software license proposals. Negotiate enterprise software contracts. Learn customer decision process. Create closing plans for forecasted business. Close business in a timely manner. Fully comprehend the Sphera unique value proposition. Qualifications 5+ years of successful experience selling Enterprise Software and Technology solutions to the Global 2000. 5+ years of experience in the EHS or Sustainability industry. Demonstrated success in closing large and complex sales, contributing to creative deal‑making. Strong hunter skills with experience in negotiations, successful partnerships and/or joint ventures. Implemented successful sales strategies in changing markets. Deep understanding of the product sales cycle, challenges, competitor strategies, and ability to hone sales strategies. Ability to adapt and leverage products, services, and operations to effectively compete in competitive markets. Highest priority given to customer satisfaction and listening to customers. Has personally closed major deals and is well known and respected, maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with key decision‑makers. Enjoys interaction with customers and prospects and is a person that sales people would welcome to participate in the sales process. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment and navigate a complex, heavily matrixed organization. Strong relationship management skills to relate successfully to a variety of people externally and internally. Proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Desire to function as an entrepreneur within Sphera, not relying on large staff support. Consistently met or surpassed yearly quota. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $105,000.00 - $167,000.00 + Eligible for Variable Compensation Plan commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience.
