Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history and accompanying mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on working with individuals grappling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. Many of our clients also experience co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. You will have the opportunity to create lasting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their recovery journey in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is essential.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

• Strong therapeutic skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients towards recovery and personal growth.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, candidates with additional experience in substance abuse treatment, crisis intervention, or group therapy will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits\n
