Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately diagnose and understand client conditions, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual’s needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions through telehealth, employing evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, tracking progress and adapting strategies as necessary to support their growth.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Proactively refer clients to community resources and additional support systems when necessary, enhancing the breadth and depth of their care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Familias First, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping these clients attain emotional balance, improve their coping strategies, and realize their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Possession of an active California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, demonstrating competency in providing therapeutic interventions.

• Adept in problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and establishing therapeutic alliances with clients.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy practices, particularly DBT or mindfulness methodologies, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
