This position offers the flexibility of a remote telehealth work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. With an emphasis on work-life balance, our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms, employing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals and preferences, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Implement and adapt therapeutic interventions focusing on mood disorders while monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies in a timely manner.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques, facilitating open discussions and engagement in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all assessments, session notes, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical requirements.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences that enrich the therapeutic process. You will be instrumental in supporting clients through their mental health journeys, helping them discover resilience and strategies for managing their conditions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in the state of New York.

• Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience focusing on mood disorders, showcasing proven outcomes in treatment.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT and DBT, with a comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, in addition to available performance bonuses.
