Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate the severity of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing validated assessment tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their unique needs, preferences, and goals are at the forefront.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, coping strategies, and available treatment options, empowering them on their journey to recovery.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained throughout the therapeutic process.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each individual.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies related to mood disorders, applying this knowledge to enrich therapeutic practices.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues and ensuring access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve primarily include individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clinic emphasizes an empathetic, person-centered approach that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or LMFT in California.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A proven track record of achieving successful treatment outcomes in mood disorder therapy.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
