Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify the specific needs, strengths, and recovery goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each patient, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing techniques.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, providing a safe space for open dialogue and self-exploration, while actively monitoring each patient's progress.

• Lead group therapy sessions that foster peer support and a sense of community, encouraging individuals to share their experiences and coping strategies during the recovery process.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and social workers, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• In-depth understanding of substance use disorders, recovery modalities, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
