Work Environment

This position is onsite at a local school, providing a unique opportunity to engage with children and their families in a familiar setting. The work schedule typically spans from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional evening clinics extending to 8:00 p.m. Participation in community outreach events and health fairs during weekends may also be required, making this a position that blends expertise with community involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings for students and their families, identifying both immediate needs and long-term health goals.
• Diagnose and manage a spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions, offering preventive care and promoting health education tailored to young populations.
• Collaborate with local health organizations and educational stakeholders to develop innovative health education programs aimed at enhancing community awareness.
• Provide culturally competent care, ensuring that all patients feel respected and understood in their healthcare journeys.
• Organize and coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure comprehensive follow-up care, thereby facilitating seamless patient pathways to wellness.
• Maintain meticulous medical records, adhering to regulatory standards to ensure compliance and support superior patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) alongside an active state nursing license.
• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
