Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments for pediatric patients, assessing their physical, emotional, and social health status.
• Perform necessary therapeutic procedures including immunizations, suture removals, and wound care, while ensuring patient comfort and minimizing distress.
• Develop and execute customized patient management and treatment plans; meticulously document patient histories and progress notes to track changes in health status.
• Guide families in understanding health maintenance and preventive care strategies, including normal growth and development milestones, nutritional counseling, and chronic disease management.
• Regularly review medical charts and assist in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care standards.
• Engage with the physician team for case discussions to refine treatment protocols and maintain high-quality patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role focuses on a diverse patient population from infancy through young adulthood. Qualifications

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Practitioner (NP) accreditation, with a current DEA license and CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
