Mountain Top Cardiology Consultants is looking for a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient practice in Binghamton, New York. Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite in our outpatient facility, specializing in home care. Here, the Nurse Practitioner will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes cardiologists, registered nurses, and other healthcare providers. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring a work-life balance as there are no on-call, weekend, or night shifts required.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving patient care within the outpatient setting. Key duties include:

• Collaborating with cardiologists to develop and implement effective patient management plans.
• Providing outpatient services for conditions such as hypertension and high cholesterol.
• Conducting assessments and stress tests for patients, interpreting results to guide appropriate care.
• Offering specialized electrophysiology services, including management of arrhythmias and follow-up for device patients.
• Evaluating and treating acute cardiac conditions like coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure.
• Performing detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and prescribing medications based on protocols.
• Referring patients to specialists when necessary and providing education on disease management to patients and their families.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with relevant certification.
• A current NP license to practice in the state of New York.
• Completion of a relevant certification exam.

Preferred Experience

While both experienced practitioners and newly graduated Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with previous work experience in cardiology, whether inpatient or outpatient. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and tools pertinent to cardiac care will also be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The Nurse Practitioner position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
