Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior LCSW at Interface Mental Healthcare, you will undertake a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Serving as an integral liaison between families and outpatient service providers, ensuring collaborative care plans are communicated and implemented effectively.

• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, advocating for our clients’ needs and optimizing their access to services.

• Participating actively in discharge and aftercare planning, coordinating with healthcare teams to guarantee smooth transitions and continued support for clients post-discharge.

• Providing therapeutic meal support, which includes modeling a healthy relationship with food and addressing nutritional counseling as part of treatment.

• Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances, taking into account the diverse identities and backgrounds they represent.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a wide range of clients including older adults and individuals dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your expertise will guide each client to achieve their therapeutic goals by fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance, developing customized treatment plans, and employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for the Senior LCSW position will have:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, which has equipped you with a robust foundation in clinical social work practice.
