Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients either in their homes or via teletherapy platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort.

• Implement strategies for anger management, skill-building for coping mechanisms, and social skills development, while effectively reducing high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and aggression.

• Promote enhanced decision-making skills among adolescents and their caregivers, equipping them with the tools needed to manage behavioral challenges in a home setting.

• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to provide cohesive and comprehensive support to families.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client intake, treatment plans, and progress notes, utilizing our electronic health record system.

• Participate in monthly team meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on your observations and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve serving children and adolescents aged 3-20 who are facing developmental and cognitive challenges. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in providing tailored therapeutic interventions that not only address their individual needs but also empower families to support their loved ones through difficult times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Pennsylvania.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, typically from 4-7 PM, with some flexibility on weekends as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to clients' homes when required.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with positive behavior support methodologies.

• Prior clinical experience with children aged 3-20, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
