Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will entail:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and ongoing mental health needs.

• Collaborating with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, coping strategies, and resilience building.

• Delivering individualized therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that foster community support and shared experiences among trauma survivors.

• Engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing your expertise to help stabilize patients in distress.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with knowledge and resources for recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and clinical supervision to stay abreast of advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with specialized training in trauma-focused therapies and a passion for working with vulnerable populations are highly encouraged to apply.
