This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients. By eliminating geographical barriers, we reach a diverse client base and cater to individual needs from the comfort of their homes. Our operational hours span from 7 AM to 10 PM, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while ensuring that we meet the varied needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ trauma histories and formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Develop personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and skills reinforcement.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences, adopt coping strategies, and promote holistic healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure integrated and continuous care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to navigate their mental health journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with local and national legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, clinical team meetings, and continuous professional development activities with a focus on trauma-informed care and emerging best practices.

• Stay abreast of recent research, methodologies, and trends in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals grappling with trauma-related disorders, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. We also support couples seeking to improve their relationships, providing training and resources for counselors willing to engage in couples therapy. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering compassionate, non-judgmental care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
