Work Environment\n

The position is fully remote, allowing you the convenience of working from home while while being part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to client wellness. You will have access to a range of telehealth tools and electronic systems to facilitate assessments, client interactions, and inter-team communications. While much of your interaction will be virtual, occasional in-person meetings may be held for team training and updates, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychosocial needs upon intake to identify their emotional, mental, and social challenges during the detox process.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, focusing on achievable goals that reflect their values and preferences.

• Provide ongoing counseling and emotional support throughout the detox process, helping clients navigate stressors related to withdrawal symptoms and life changes.

• Work closely with medical personnel and case managers to ensure coordinated care, including advocacy for clients’ rights to access treatment and resources necessary for recovery.

• Document progress notes and treatment updates accurately in client records, utilizing electronic health records systems to maintain compliance and ensure quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be adult clients entering detoxification, often facing substance misuse challenges. You will engage with individuals who require both emotional support and practical assistance to embark on their recovery journey. Building rapport and trust is essential, as many clients may arrive with complex histories and may initially be resistant to treatment. Your ability to provide empathetic, understanding guidance can significantly influence their commitment to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits\n
