Senior Director of Sales, North America - Clinical Diagnostics

We are partnered with a global market leader in clinical diagnostics, recognised for delivering innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes worldwide. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Sales - North America to lead commercial strategy, accelerate growth, and inspire a high-performing sales organisation across the region. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Operations, you will lead a team of 50+ professionals and a P&L, driving revenue growth, market expansion and customer engagement across a diverse diagnostics portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the North American commercial growth strategy.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organisation delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Pricing and Customer Service.
- Build strategic relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Identify market opportunities through customer insights, competitive analysis and commercial planning.
- Foster a high-performance, data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 15+ years' commercial leadership experience within diagnostics, life sciences or healthcare.
- Proven success leading large sales teams and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the IVD or clinical diagnostics market.
- Strategic thinker with excellent commercial, financial and leadership skills.
- Experience operating successfully within complex, global matrix organisations.
Travel: Up to 75%
