Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify the severity and impact of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their unique needs, goals, and personal preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and personal growth among clients.

• Provide ongoing education and support to both clients and their families about mood disorders, various treatment options, and actionable self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Foster strong collaborations with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapy practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to further clinical skills and share best practices.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, working to promote awareness, destigmatization of mood disorders, and the necessity of mental health support services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to severe depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing a safe and supportive environment for open discussions about their mental health challenges and aspirations for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Illinois.

• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in utilizing effective evidence-based treatment modalities tailored for mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and capability in coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
