Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexible scheduling while ensuring that our therapists can fully engage with clients in a comfortable and professional manner. Our outpatient office serves diverse communities in Texas, and our remote framework allows for accessibility and convenience for both therapists and clients. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., balancing client sessions with necessary administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing tools and methodologies appropriate for individual client needs.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique requirements, goals, and preferences, continually refining these plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their conditions effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and support.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals and psychiatrists, ensuring integrated and comprehensive care plans for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment, actively incorporating this knowledge into clinical practice to enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring quality and accountability in care delivery.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to foster collaboration and continuous learning.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues and increasing access to essential services.

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base consists of diverse populations, including those in underprivileged communities, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary to ensure a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
