Health Flow Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our full-time team. Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule, although some responsibilities may require occasional in-office presence. Our supportive outpatient office atmosphere encourages teamwork, open communication, and professional growth, making for an enriching and collaborative work experience. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to address a broad spectrum of mental health issues.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups to address common mental health challenges and foster a sense of community and connection among participants.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients, enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, employing de-escalation techniques and tailored support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their conditions and available treatment options while informing them of local community resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain complete and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, involving both electronic health record (EHR) systems and traditional paperwork.

• Participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and contribute to collective case management efforts.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including staying current with emerging research, methodologies, and state regulations affecting mental health practice.

Your role will be pivotal in addressing a diverse patient population drawn from the various communities of Lakewood and neighboring areas. You will work with individuals across different age groups and backgrounds, each presenting unique mental health challenges and opportunities for growth. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and their treatment, demonstrating knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to a variety of populations, including children, adults, and families.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.
\n
• Ability to maintain professional ethics and boundaries while cultivating a rapport with clients.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications for documentation and communication.

• A collaborative mindset, eager to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting with a focus on outpatient care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
