Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify suitable treatment modalities.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience building, regularly adjusting these plans based on progress and feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective treatment.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their healing processes and equipping them with coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and resources available for continued support.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards, contributing to the continuity of care.

• Participate actively in professional development activities, including training sessions and workshops focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research developments and therapeutic practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is on individuals who are survivors of trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual encountered. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capability to remain calm and collected in high-pressure situations, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment, contributing to multidisciplinary case considerations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
