Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed information on patients' trauma histories.

• Forge and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery that incorporate techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for further support.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, abiding by legal and ethical standards of practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
