Commercial Litigation Associate (Trade Secrets Focus) Location: San Francisco, CA A highly regarded international law firm is seeking an Associate with 5 or more years of experience to join its Litigation practice in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation, with a strong emphasis on sophisticated business and trade secret disputes. Associates will take on significant responsibility within a collaborative team, working directly with clients on high-stakes matters. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in complex commercial and trade secret litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions and substantive briefs Manage key litigation workstreams, including discovery and motion practice Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses Support trial preparation and court appearances Work closely with clients on case strategy and execution Who You Are 5+ years of complex commercial litigation experience Strong experience with trade secret disputes Excellent academic credentials (judicial clerkship a plus) Exceptional research, writing and oral advocacy skills Experience managing discovery, depositions and pretrial preparation Ability to work independently and take ownership of matters Strong organisational and client-facing skills Admitted to the California Bar Compensation Salary Range: $275,000 – $375,000 (DOE) Benefits: Comprehensive bonus structure including productivity, merit and origination bonuses (potential $10,000–$200,000+), plus full benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr The People Of: Professional Services
