Embark on a rewarding opportunity shaping high school students’ math skills in a dynamic academic setting. This full-time, onsite position focuses on general education instruction with a high school math caseload, spanning from now through June 10, 2027. You’ll collaborate with district educators and have sole responsibility for general education students, while Special Education students will receive dedicated SPED support.

Your teaching experience, passion for student growth, and strong classroom management abilities are essential to foster an engaging and productive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active teaching certification/licensure fitting the assignment
• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit)
• Demonstrated mastery of mathematics content and related instructional resources
• Prior experience in a school environment, ideally within an urban setting
• Comfortable working onsite during standard school hours (8:30 AM–4 PM); must have reliable transportation
• Clear understanding of state and district educational standards
• Ability to complete all necessary PA clearances promptly
• STRONG classroom and behavioral management skills
• Comfortable adapting to district procedures and culture
• Two openings available for immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state/district standards
• Use formative assessments and differentiation to drive instruction
• Foster a respectful, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and SPED teachers
• Monitor progress and provide timely feedback to students
• Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues
