Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the frequency, intensity, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring each client's unique needs are understood and addressed.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote engagement in their mental health journey.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving needs and goals.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to deliver integrated care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development workshops.

• Advocate for the needs of clients, promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many of our clients may also be facing significant life challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, or issues related to refugee status. Your role will be pivotal in providing emotional support and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's situation, promoting mental wellness and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active LMFT license in the state of Colorado.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
