Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your home. Our outpatient office in Long Beach acts as a hub for collaborative meetings and consultations, ensuring that our team stays connected. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured yet adaptable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including structured sessions for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, identifying clients' specific stressors, life challenges, and therapeutic goals to create customized treatment plans.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness techniques, including meditation and breathing exercises, aimed at fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops that focus on stress management, resilience-building strategies, and mindfulness practices.

• Integrate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions to effectively address and manage clients' diverse mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to client treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, interventions utilized, and adjustments to treatment plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including personal mindfulness practice, to enhance your therapeutic expertise and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
