Work Environment

The physical therapy department at Inner Sage operates primarily in an outpatient setting, with a focus on home care interventions as needed. Your work schedule will run from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on each patient's unique condition and goals.
• Apply a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to optimize physical function and mobility.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, injury prevention techniques, and movement efficiency, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery.
• Document patient progress accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with medical regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population at Inner Sage includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-injury rehabilitation. We focus on empowering our clients with the knowledge and skills needed to manage their conditions, fostering independence and improving their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in New York State.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably within an outpatient setting.
• Experience in home care therapies or related services is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and tools, including therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and functional training equipment.
