Work Environment\n

This role allows for a flexible work setting, primarily remote, enabling our LCSWs to balance professional commitments with personal responsibilities effectively. While our main operations are conducted virtually, you may occasionally need to interact with local agencies and community organizations to support your client base and fulfill organizational objectives. Your standard hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential evening and weekend hours based on client need and availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders through virtual consultations and support.

• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, participating in case management meetings, treatment planning, and ensuring that every client's unique needs are met.

• Apply cultural competence to effectively communicate and work within a diverse patient population, respecting varying traditions, beliefs, and experiences.

• Navigate and operate within the organizational structures of both Polaris Behavioral Health Center and external systems to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our hospice program emphasizes a holistic approach to end-of-life care, providing psychological and emotional support to patients and their families. As an LCSW, you will work with individuals facing chronic illnesses, terminal diagnoses, and various emotional challenges associated with the hospice experience. Your role will be integral in helping patients achieve comfort, closure, and dignity as they navigate this significant phase of life.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 – $90,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
