Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: Cardiac Tele · Number of Beds : 29 · Patient Ratios : 1:4 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary, and PCTs · Type of equipment : Alaris IV Pumps, SCD machines, Hill Rom beds, dinamap in each room, 3 Welch Allen Vital Machines, Wound Vacs, Temporary Pacemakers, Telemetry monitor, EKG Machine, Bladder Scanner, Doppler, Imobile for communication between team members · Documentation system: Meditech Advanced skills needed: Must have experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.
