Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for clients, diagnosing mental health conditions and documenting treatment recommendations based on thorough evaluations.

• Provide individualized counseling and crisis intervention services, working with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops, covering subjects such as coping strategies, stress management, and emotional resilience to foster community support and peer interaction.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams within the healthcare facility—including social workers, psychiatrists, and nursing staff—to ensure cohesive and holistic client care.

• Maintain and update client records meticulously in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards while utilizing our secure electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a varied patient population that encompasses children, adolescents, and families facing a myriad of mental health conditions. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, effectively addressing their unique lifestyle factors and cultural contexts to tailor interventions that resonate with them.

Qualifications\n

• An active mental health license in New York State such as LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, LMHC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, with preference given to candidates who possess a Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies suitable for outpatient care.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to foster trust and rapport with a diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
