(Experience desired but will train the right person)Location: American ForkRequirements:Self-motivated and dependableDetail and deadline orientedHigh ethical standardsWorks well with othersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skillsIntake Responsibilities:Interact well with physicians, discharge planners, patient, family, team members and other healthcare professionals.Perform insurance eligibility and benefits information using phone and online resources. Understanding various aspects of medical insurance, including Medicare.Accurately enter all necessary referral information and documentation, verifying demographics and physician orders in the EMR computer system. Collect all face to face documentation for review.Respond to requests in an accurate and timely manner.Coordinate scheduling with appropriate team members ensuring they receive all necessary information to begin patient care.Provide excellent telephone and customer service.
