Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic pain conditions, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and opioid alternatives.
• Develop tailored treatment programs pairing non-operative and operative methodologies with orthopedic and radiological services.
• Engage with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their treatment addresses their unique needs and concerns.
• Provide education and support to patients about pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications to improve long-term outcomes.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to remain current with best practices and advancements in pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will significantly impact the health and wellbeing of patients in rural communities surrounding Austin, within a 2-hour radius. Many of these individuals are part of underserved populations who have limited access to specialized healthcare services. By leveraging your skills and knowledge, you will provide much-needed specialty healthcare to these communities, addressing their acute and chronic pain needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Studies.
• Valid Texas state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong commitment to holistic patient care and improvement of patient quality of life.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, functional medicine, spine surgery, or family medicine is highly preferred.
• A passion for serving rural communities and addressing the healthcare disparities faced in these populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The Nurse Practitioner role at Tampa Pain Relief Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 220,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to your base salary, we provide productivity bonuses to further reward your hard work.
