Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough history and physical examinations to assess patient needs and determine appropriate pain management plans.
• Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests to aid in the evaluation and management of patients' pain conditions.
• Manage both narcotic and non-narcotic medication regimens in alignment with established practice guidelines, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Perform essential interventional pain treatments, including trigger point injections, botox/dysport injections, and greater occipital nerve blocks, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
• Assess and recommend interventions such as epidural steroid injections and spinal cord stimulator placements based on patient evaluations.

As a Nurse Practitioner at Cardinal Medical Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals suffering from chronic pain. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in geriatrics or pain management is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in critical care, family practice, inpatient care, outpatient care, pediatrics, or telemedicine.
• Experience working in a hospital setting is highly encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits
