Bookkeeper
Record daily cash, check, farebox deposits and credit card receipts in Lawson accounting system and reconcile to source detail. Complete all monthly billing and collection of accounts receivable for RTS Monroe and Regional Operations. Follow up as needed with delinquent customers regarding past due balances and bounced checks. Assist with fare media (bus pass) escalations. Assist with preparing journal entries for month-end and year-end closing. Assist with fixed assets. Assist with bank reconciliations. Assist with documentation of procedures. Assist with researching process improvements to enhance department efficiency. Other duties as assigned.
