Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' current mental state, understanding their unique needs and challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to identify areas of concern, developing comprehensive and personalized treatment plans to address their specific mental health issues.

• Provide direct clinical care through individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices while adapting to each client's needs.

• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.

• Coordinate services with social agencies, healthcare providers, and community resources to enhance patient support and access to essential services.

• Educate patients on effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, empowering them to develop resilience in their daily lives.

• Complete initial assessments and conduct follow-up check-ins to ensure continuity of care and adherence to treatment goals.

• Stay current with continuing education requirements to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification, keeping abreast of new practices and methodologies in the mental health field.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and developmental disabilities. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of client interactions.

• Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation and time management skills.

• Must reside in California, as direct client care requires local licensure.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
