Head of School About the Company Well-regarded independent school Industry Hospitality Type Educational Institution Employees 11-50 About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of School to lead its independent educational institution. The successful candidate will be a relational, visionary, and community-centered leader, responsible for upholding the school's distinctive culture while guiding the community in discussions about the future of teaching and learning, innovation, and student well-being. This role requires a deep commitment to the values of the school, including intellectual curiosity, integrity, empathy, inclusivity, and service to others. The Head of School will work to strengthen the culture of belonging, support faculty excellence, and partner with the Board and the broader community to shape the school's future. Candidates for the Head of School position at the company should be prepared to take on a challenging and comprehensive educational experience. The role involves fostering a strong moral foundation and a deep sense of social responsibility in every student, in line with the school's mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with a focus on a rigorous liberal arts, college preparatory curriculum that promotes critical thinking and lifelong learning. Experience in a similar leadership role, particularly in an independent or Episcopal school setting, is highly valued. The Head of School will be expected to engage with a diverse student body, including a significant percentage of students of color, and to support a community that is warm, welcoming, and grounded in belonging.
