In this full-time remote position, you will focus on the assessment, treatment, and support of clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field and possess licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts required based on a rotation schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, establishing the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that are goal-directed and responsive to their unique needs and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation and support resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated treatment approaches.
\n
• Stay informed of current research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards in documenting client interactions and treatment plans.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and enhancing its overall accessibility.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role will be primarily on clients suffering from various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and bipolar disorder. Our patients will often come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and include both adolescents and adults. As a therapist, you will help guide clients on their recovery journey, focusing on their strengths while addressing the challenges they face.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in therapeutic settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse clients effectively.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in working with mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques, including CBT and DBT, with a proven record of successful client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, offering competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
