Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Consulting on the development of pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans, ensuring timely and accurate documentation meets all regulatory standards.

• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to provide effective treatment options as guided by the clinical team.

• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans, facilitating improved outcomes for clients.

• Participating actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high-quality standards within the organization.

• Serving as a liaison to state agencies, community partners, and other relevant service systems to enhance care coordination and resource linkage.

• Establishing and maintaining productive communication channels within the team and with external stakeholders to promote our mission effectively.

• Engaging with local and state organizations to develop new partnerships, funding opportunities, and expand community presence.

• Pursuing ongoing professional development through conferences, training, and representation of the organization at meetings and task forces relevant to your expertise.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the organization's overall goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including emotional disturbances, substance use disorders, and the effects of developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your role will be crucial in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health, building therapeutic relationships that empower clients to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field.

• An independent LMHC License in Massachusetts or willingness to obtain one with the support of Precious Health Valley Mental Healthcare.
