We are seeking a passionate and driven Sous Chef to join a dynamic, high-volume kitchen. This role partners directly with the Executive Chef to lead daily operations, elevate food quality, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. What You'll Do

• Support the Executive Chef in menu execution and daily kitchen operations
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and accountability
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and execution
• Oversee food safety, sanitation, and hygiene across all stages of prep and service
• Run and organize the expo line with precision and urgency
• Step in and lead during high-volume service with confidence and composure
• Train, coach, and develop team members

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to teach and mentor
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Appreciation for quality ingredients and relationships with purveyors
• Basic computer skills for menu updates and systems

Requirements

• 13 years of high-volume kitchen experience
• Culinary degree preferred but not required with strong experience

Working Environment

• Fast-paced, high-energy kitchen
• Requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 45 lbs
• Exposure to hot, cold, and heavy kitchen equipment
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
