Sutter Care Physical Therapist is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Sayreville, New Jersey rehabilitation facility. This role involves evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for a diverse range of patients, in collaboration with physicians to enhance their recovery and well-being.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing hands-on assistance to patients in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Sayreville. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical therapy needs through clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, considering their goals and preferences as well as evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions for a variety of specialties, including but not limited to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Utilize treatment modalities and techniques to promote functional improvements, guiding patients in a therapeutic setting.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, rehabilitation goals, and self-management techniques for ongoing health.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development, contributing ideas for clinic improvement and participating in team meetings and workshops.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in computer systems and word processing for documentation and communication purposes.
• Ability to foster strong patient relationships, promoting motivational engagement in their recovery journeys.
• Inclination towards community involvement and building lasting connections with patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, with hands-on practice in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Experience in various specialties, enhancing adaptability and broad clinical understanding.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and participation in relevant continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
