This full-time position involves working onsite in a collaborative environment where you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through their journey to regaining mobility and enhancing their overall quality of life. Your expertise will be vital in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation of various orthopedic conditions.

Work Environment

This role is primarily based in our clinic, designed to provide a conducive environment for both patient care and professional collaboration. You will be joining a skilled team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The supportive and dynamic atmosphere encourages mutual respect and teamwork as we strive to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. Operating hours for this full-time position are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and objectives effectively, devising personalized treatment plans designed to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each session is tailored to meet individual therapy goals.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to foster optimal healing pathways, while minimizing reliance on medication and exploring non-surgical options.
• Create comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment techniques to enhance patient recovery.
• Design and monitor personalized fitness and wellness programs, aiming to improve vital factors such as strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their treatment process, helping them to realize their functional potential.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, monitoring patient progress meticulously and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Document all patient care services accurately and thoroughly to maintain high standards of practice and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, encompassing a variety of orthopedic conditions. You will be engaged in providing outstanding care to patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from injuries. Your compassionate approach will create a nurturing environment that enables our patients to overcome challenges and regain their active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• A clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Exceptional skills in developing and implementing exercise protocols tailored for diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in using WebPT EMR Software to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, ideally with a background in rehabilitative care for athletes or active individuals.
• Demonstrated success in motivating patients to adhere to treatment plans and engage actively in their recovery.
• Familiarity with the latest physical therapy best practices and evidence-based approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, in addition to comprehensive benefits.
