Work Environment

Our office is located in the vibrant community of Atlantic City, known for its beautiful beachfront and lively atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a friendly and engaged team that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify each patient's unique goals and requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, averaging one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and comprehensive treatment.
• Develop and implement evidence-based, cost-effective treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functioning.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols tailored to patient needs, enhancing their range of motion and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for all patients.
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes meticulously, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Motivate patients consistently throughout their treatment, encouraging adherence to fitness and wellness programs.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Advocate for lifestyle modifications that promote overall health, including strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at Evolution Physical Therapy primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, seeking to regain their pre-injury levels of activity. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes to the elderly, each benefiting from specialized rehabilitation protocols designed to facilitate a speedy and effective recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist with an exemplary professional record, reflecting no disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and the ability to design effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, showcasing a strong understanding of patient rehabilitation needs.
• A solid background in alternative treatment modalities that reduce reliance on medication and surgery is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive patient relationships and ensure team collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience along with a comprehensive benefits package.
