Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including musculoskeletal and neurological evaluations, to develop evidence-based, personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of rehabilitation techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve patients' functional abilities and alleviate pain.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patients' progress, ensuring the use of best practices in evidence-based rehabilitation methods.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term mobility and pain management, contributing to sustainable patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously using our electronic health record system, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and collaborating with other health professionals to optimize patient care.
• Stay current with the latest developments in physical therapy through continuous education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with adults of varying ages, ensuring that each treatment approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients regain their strength and mobility, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
