Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health issues, which will inform the creation of effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to promote personal growth, resilience, and well-being.
\n
• Set therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and actively monitor and adapt plans based on their progress and feedback.
\n
• Engage in regular staff meetings, group supervision, and one-on-one check-ins with your clinical supervisor to ensure best practices and continuous improvement in care.

• Maintain compliant and accurate documentation of sessions and treatment plans, in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including couples, children, teens, and families, all of whom may be managing various mental health challenges. The Center for Family Guidance actively encourages applications from clinicians who have experience working with clients of color, LGBTQIA individuals, and other underserved communities to better reflect the diversity of our client base.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
\n
• A current, valid LMFT licensure issued by the state of California is necessary to practice.
\n
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience is required, showcasing your ability to effectively engage with diverse client populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with families, couples, children, and adolescents is highly desirable.
\n
• Demonstrated competence in handling issues related to trauma, substance abuse, and anxiety, will be an advantage for this role.

• Prior experience with teletherapy practices is a plus, as it aligns with our commitment to offering clients various options for receiving care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
