Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role supporting elementary-aged students by helping them develop communication skills crucial for academic and social success. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work across 2-3 school sites, providing dedicated services to a caseload of approximately 46 students. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with an option to extend into the Extended School Year (ESY), ensuring continuity for students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid and current state licensure or certification for SLP
• Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Siras/AbleSpace IEP software is highly desirable
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Flexibility to serve multiple sites, with mileage between schools reimbursed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct speech and language therapy for elementary school students
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using Siras/AbleSpace
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
• Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school district and state requirements
• Travel between assigned school sites as scheduled, with mileage reimbursed
• Offer services to a diverse student caseload, adjusting approaches to meet individualized needs

This role offers a stable weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with a workday of 7.5 hours including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Engage with a supportive community and gain exposure to a variety of speech-language needs, enhancing your professional skills across multiple elementary campuses.
