Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, mobility, and functional abilities through detailed evaluations and observations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' specific rehabilitation goals, utilizing best practices and evidence-based approaches.
• Administer hands-on therapy including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate patients and their families about their treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that foster long-term health.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery rates.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintain accurate medical records in adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new modalities and technologies into patient care to enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Our facility serves patients across all age groups, enabling you to utilize your skills in a variety of rehabilitation contexts and tailor your approach to meet the needs of both young and elder patients.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in physical therapy or a related healthcare field, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional clinical skills with the ability to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• The capacity to work autonomously while being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, with a focus on empathy and promoting patient independence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized treatment techniques such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, or aquatic therapy.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems to efficiently document patient progress and treatment plans.
• Evidence of continuing education or certifications in advanced therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life Physiotherapy offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
