Fore Front Ortho Care Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in San Diego, California. As a full-time member of our rehabilitation staff, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their recovery journey, focusing on restoring movement, enhancing physical functionality, and improving their overall quality of life.

Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with a team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured schedule and a stable work-life balance. We emphasize a team-oriented approach, with frequent meetings to discuss patient progress and innovate treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify and address patients' objectives and needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Develop comprehensive, evidence-based care plans that utilize a variety of treatment techniques.
• Provide cost-effective interventions aimed at improving range of motion and mobility.
• Focus on minimizing dependency on medications by promoting non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized care by applying evidence-based interventions and keeping patients informed throughout their treatment.
• Motivate patients to achieve optimal levels of functioning and encourage adherence to prescribed exercise regimens.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through active engagement and support.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor patient progress, ensuring clear communication of findings with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care services provided to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Fore Front Ortho Care Clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in guiding these patients towards recovery by employing customized interventions designed to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol design.
• Proficient use of EMR systems, specifically WebPT software.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary rehabilitation approaches is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
