Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, identifying unique mental health needs and formulating appropriate treatment plans.

• Deliver graduate-level clinical counseling services, utilizing various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their service goals.

• Document client assessments, treatment interventions, and progress in a timely and ethical manner, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Engage in regular meetings and patient rounds with healthcare professionals to discuss treatment strategies, case management, and client progress.

• Provide ongoing case management, including consultation and collaboration with community resources and healthcare providers, to offer comprehensive care that goes beyond therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing creative approaches to foster engagement and therapeutic alliance among clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Calm Connections, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. Your role will not only focus on therapy but also on empowering clients to develop coping strategies and resilience, contributing to their overall emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• Applicants must possess a Master's degree or a Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Candidates should be willing to work anywhere from 10 to 40 hours a week, with potential for additional sessions based on client demand.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required, showcasing your ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
