Candidates can learn more about LA Fitness through its website and social media channels. Role Description The Club Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the LA Fitness club in Oceanside, CA. This role oversees daily club operations, including staffing, scheduling, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The Club Manager leads and coaches team members, drives membership sales and renewals, and supports personal training and group fitness programs to meet club performance goals. Responsibilities include monitoring facility standards, resolving member concerns, managing basic budgeting and reporting tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role collaborates closely with corporate leadership to execute promotional initiatives and maintain a consistent, high-quality member experience. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising staff in a customer-focused environment. Strong customer service and communication abilities, including conflict resolution and relationship building with members and staff. Basic sales and business development skills, including membership sales, goal setting, and performance tracking. Organizational and operational management skills, such as scheduling, facility oversight, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Ability to work full-time on-site in Oceanside, CA, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail management is strongly preferred. Proficiency with common office and point-of-sale software; ability to learn club management systems quickly.
