Work Environment\n

This role is remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to analyze clients' conditions and formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in both individual and group counseling sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to address common mental health issues and foster community among clients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure a seamless treatment experience for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support clients during acute mental health situations, prioritizing safety and immediate care.

• Educate clients about various mental health disorders, their treatment options, and the resources available within the community to reinforce their support network.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards to protect client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base comprises individuals dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. The counselor will work with diverse populations, acknowledging cultural sensitivities and individual life experiences that impact mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
