Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students, utilizing effective interviewing and diagnostic techniques.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of individuals and groups.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including educators, psychologists, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate a holistic approach to student well-being.

• Help students and families navigate access to community resources, advocating effectively on their behalf to ensure necessary support is obtained.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and team meetings to continually develop your clinical skills and share best practices with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges. You will work closely with children and adolescents, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, social struggles, and trauma. Your ability to create a trustworthy and safe environment will be essential in building rapport and promoting positive mental health outcomes for every student.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Proven experience of at least two years working in mental health settings, ideally with a focus on school-aged populations.

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills essential for accurately evaluating and treating various behavioral health issues.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for fostering trusting relationships with students, families, and team members.

• A proactive capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a school-based environment or with adolescent populations is preferable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary between $110,000 and $130,000, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
